RECAP: Mark Schlabach wins Div. III medalist, Hiland finishes sixth

Hiland senior Mark Schlabach won the Div. III OHSAA State Golf Championship on Oct. 17 at Sunbury’s Northstar Golf Club. Schlabach carded a 151, shooting a 74 on Friday, day one, and following that up with a 77 on Saturday.

Fellow senior Adam Grate had the round of the day on Saturday Oct. 17 firing a cool 75. The round was good enough to earn 2nd Team All-Ohio honors for Grate.

Team-wise, Hiland finished seventh in the overall team standings with a combined score of 691.
