West Holmes was able to muster just 79 yards of total offense against Wooster on Oct. 21, which meant the game wouldn’t end well for the Knights.
Meanwhile on the offensive side of the ball Wooster’s Trey Mathis rumbled all over the place out of the Generals’ backfield to the tune of 198 yards on the ground and he scored three times in a 38-0 Wooster rout of the Knights.
Wooster moves to 7-2 on the season and 4-2 in the Ohio Cardinal Conference while the Knights drop to 1-8 and 1-4 in the conference.
Sophomore Gavin Sheldon rushed for a team-high 35 yards for the Knights who battled with the Wooster defense all night, but was unable to come up with any points.
Another big stat on the night was the turnover battle in which the Generals won 4-0.
