Malone’s Jack Hazen inducted into USTFCCCA Coaches HOF

On Wednesday, Dec. 14 longtime Malone University cross country head coach Jack Hazen was officially inducted into the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s Hall of Fame.

Hazen and fellow 2017 USTFCCCA Hall of Fame honorees Amy Deem of the University of Miami, Peter Farwell of Williams College, Bob Kersee of UCLA, Fred Samara of Princeton University and Patrick Shane of Brigham Young University were recognized during the association’s annual convention in Phoenix, Arizona.

A video archive of the entire induction ceremony can be viewed on Facebook by clicking here.

The USTFCCCA announced the selections in August, just before the start of Hazen’s 51st season at the helm of the Pioneer cross country program.

Two photos are attached. The first is a group photo of the inductees from the USTFCCCA. The second is a photo of Hazen with several Malone assistant coaches, administrators, current and former student-athletes, and members of Hazen’s family.
