Hiland Hawks Player of the Week – Braden Mast

Against Mansfield Christian on Saturday, September 3 the Hiland Hawks’ boys soccer team dropped a battle to the second-ranked Flames 3-2. But senior center back Braden Mast did his best for the Hawks, assisting on both goals in the thriller. Mast connected with forward Derek Miller for the Hawks’ first goal of the match on a long free kick and finish. His next assist was even more special. On Hiland’s second goal against the Flames, Mast made a nasty juke move in front of the Hawks’ bench and then laid a pass on the back post where Tyson Gingerich finished it this time with a diving header.
